A post at the bottom of the blog by SnowSoul, in response to Neandy Erthal:
"Until a legitimate argument can be made that they aren't making the world a better place: yes, they are a legitimate instrument of God's purpose. In the mean time, they are. The world is a safer and better place because of American forces. They have done more to help the world than, well, the world has itself. There has been no more positive force the world over than one they who provide peace through humanitarian aid in the form of food or death to the enemies of freedom through the barrel of a gun.
And what has Assange done? He's given Mugabe the rope to hang his opponent. He's given people who would fight for a freer world caution of working with America. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's playing you all for fools. Tearing down America every chance he gets? Who exactly replaces America on the global stage with any authority on anything positive? Europe? No, we are watching the beginning of the unraveling of the EU. Any nation in South America? No, if they aren't fighting narco-terrorists, they're probably funding them. Africa? It's total chaos down there. Russia? Obviously not. And Asia? The only one over there with power is the one who should worry the world the most, but everyone makes excuses for. And who is the only one Wikileaks releases information on? America or American interests. No country can do, will do, what America has done and he is doing everything in his power to break it and create chaos the world over. Either that, or he's really too stupid to understand the consequences of a weaker America."
