AFP: North Korea visit to focus on food crisis: Carter:

"'It is very, very important to ensure that the women, children and the elderly do not suffer because of a political situation,' Robinson said. 'We will very much be emphasising this."

What the heck are they talking about? The political reality is that North Korea may be THE most backwards place on the planet, which has caused the global community to treat it like it deserves to be treated. Also, there are 6 million+ people not eating, but how many are willing to pick up a gun and shoot the ones trying to help? That is the political reality with which North Korea should be treated, and DEMAND change. Sending these old people can either be the West saving face or the world thinks the same wheel will keep on turning. More people suffer with the latter scenario.
